This Privacy Policy explains how CryptoPong ("we", "us", "the Platform") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use cryptopong.io.

1. Information We Collect

Wallet Address: When you connect your Solana wallet, we store your public wallet address. We never have access to your private keys or seed phrases.

Profile Information: You may optionally provide a username/handle, nickname, profile picture, banner image, and bio. This information is publicly visible to other users.

Game Data: We store match history, win/loss records, earnings, XP, achievements, and other gameplay statistics.

Chat Messages: Messages sent in global chat are stored temporarily (up to 7 days) and are visible to all users.

Direct Messages: Private messages between friends are stored in our database and are only visible to the sender and recipient.

Discord ID: If you choose to link your Discord account, we store your Discord user ID.

2. Information We Do NOT Collect

• Private keys or seed phrases
• Email addresses
• Phone numbers
• Real names (unless you choose to use your real name as a handle)
• Location data
• Cookies for tracking or advertising

3. How We Use Your Information

• To provide and operate the Platform
• To display your profile, stats, and achievements to other users
• To process matches, staking, and payouts on-chain
• To enable trading and social features (friends, chat, messaging)
• To track referrals and distribute affiliate rewards
• To prevent abuse, cheating, and fraud
• To improve the Platform

4. Data Storage

Your data is stored in MongoDB Atlas, a cloud database service. Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. Our servers are hosted on Railway.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties. Your data may be disclosed only if:

• Required by law or legal process
• Necessary to protect the rights and safety of users or the Platform
• You have given explicit consent

6. Public Information

The following information is publicly visible to other users:

• Username/handle, nickname, profile picture, banner, bio
• Win/loss record, earnings, level, achievements
• Match history
• Global chat messages
• Equipped cosmetic skins

Your wallet address is visible to other users. Transaction history is publicly available on the Solana blockchain.

7. On-Chain Data

Staking, payouts, and token burns are executed as Solana blockchain transactions. These transactions are permanent, public, and immutable. We have no ability to modify or delete on-chain data.

8. Data Retention

• Account data: Retained as long as your account exists
• Match history: Retained indefinitely
• Global chat: Auto-deleted after 7 days
• Sessions: Expire after 24 hours

9. Your Rights

You can:

• Update or change your profile information at any time
• Delete messages you've sent in global chat
• Unlink your Discord account
• Request deletion of your account by contacting us through Discord

10. Children

CryptoPong is not intended for users under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect information from minors. If we learn that we have collected data from a user under 18, we will delete it promptly.

11. Security

We implement reasonable security measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections, session-based authentication, and rate limiting. However, no system is 100% secure. You are responsible for the security of your wallet and private keys.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
